Deck repair and staining

Not every deck needs replacing. If the bones are good, we replace worn boards, tighten or rebuild railings, and re-stain the whole surface so it looks new. If the framing is failing, we will say so plainly and quote a rebuild instead of patching a problem that will come back.

Deck FAQ

Wood or composite decking?

Wood costs less up front and looks classic, but needs staining every few years in Colorado sun. Composite costs more but shrugs off UV and snow with almost no upkeep. We build both and will price both for you.

Can you repair my deck instead of replacing it?

Often, yes. If the structure underneath is sound, we can replace worn boards and railings and re-stain. If the framing has rot or the deck has started to sag, we will tell you honestly and price a rebuild.

How long does a new deck take to build?

Most decks go up in days to a couple of weeks depending on size and design. Spring books up fast, so reach out early if you want it ready for summer.
